KERI MCGUIRE – Co-Owner/Instructor
Keri is a Southern California native and active mother of two. Fitness and exercise have always played a huge role in her life. She grew up studying ballet and loved the grace and posture that it taught her at a young age. Keri danced and cheered throughout her high school years and then became am avid golfer while attending the University of Utah where she received her B.S. in Finance. After years of practicing Pilates and becoming mat Pilates certified, she was introduced to Xtend Barre® and instantly knew it was what she wanted to be a part of. “I am a true believer in this technique and am so excited to have the opportunity to introduce Xtend Barre® to my community. It truly is a total package, combining dance, pilates and cardio into a life-changing, body-altering 55 minutes workout.”
Keri is now the proud owner of 3 Xtend Barre studios and is the Director of Business Development for the Xtend Barre franchise.
COURTNEY MILLER- Instructor
Courtney is a fully certified Stott Pilates trainer with over a decade of teaching experience working with clients from Professional Athletes to Miss Canada. She has studied classical and contemporary Pilates methodologies and is also trained as a Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, and Pre/Post Natal Fitness Instructor.

LAUREN HUBER - Instructor
Growing up as an athlete in competitive sports, Lauren first was introduced to dance on her high school cheerleading squad. Her love for dance continued in college and she went on to become a cheerleader/dancer at Washington State University. Lauren began teaching a variety of group fitness classes including Tae Bo, Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, as well as Personal Training. Being active in the fitness community, she then got into Fitness and Figure competitions and placed 2nd at a National Competition in 2008. She is Pilates mat certified and working towards her yoga certification.

ZURI GOLDMAN - Instructor
After working as a professional ballet dancer for over 15 years, and teaching ballet for over ten years, Zuri was looking for a way to keep in shape. When he heard about Xtend Barre ®, a low impact exercise program that gave you all the strength training of a ballet barre, plus the cardio of an aerobics class, he thought he’d give it a try. He was in love after the first class. After a week of classes, he was able to put his belt on the third notch again; a feat not attempted since dancing 40 hours per week. Zuri loves to teach and enjoys making hard classes into fun workouts.
SARA YASUDA - Instructor
After discovering her passion for dance and choreography at a very early age, in 1999 Sara relocated to San Diego to continue her dance studies at San Diego State University, majoring in dance. She has trained with Paul Koverman from California Ballet, and numerous names in the modern dance world such as Jean Isaacs, Melissa Nunn, and Faith Jensen-Ismay. Sara was also a member of SDSU’s dance team. In 2001, she became captain/ choreographer of the collegiate team, winning many national awards and receiving top honors. In 2003, Sara began teaching competitive dance to kids of all ages at the San Diego Dance Centre where she has been a top instructor for 8 years. Looking for a lower impact work out for herself, she tried Xtend Barre and was instantly hooked! She believes you can give your body the long lines of a dancer's with out the harsh effects on your joints.
EMMA RADWICK - Instructor
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Emma’s passion for a healthy lifestyle and helping others achieve optimal health truly shows in her classes. She has performed as a professional dancer all over the world and settled in Sunny San Diego in January of 2010. Emma is enjoying her second season as an NFL Cheerleader and enjoys sharing her knowledge for fitness and health with her teammates as well as everyone she meets working at Xtend Barre Encinitas. A certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor, Emma’s infectious optimism and joy for Xtend Barre is what keeps her clients coming back again and again! Looking for a lower impact work out for herself, she tried Xtend Barre and was instantly hooked! BRONWEN - Instructor
Bronwen,( Bronnie) is a former professional dancer and musical theater / comedic actress from Sydney Australia that has over a decade of experience teaching in the fitness industry. She began teaching aerobics as a teenager and has appeared in fitness DVD's, presented at Fitness Conventions and built a career and successful business helping women achieve confidence and strength through exercise. After Bronwen became pregnant with her first child and was told to stay out of the gym, she discovered Pilates and was soon certified through Body Arts and Science International. Combining Dance and Pilates, her two great loves, Xtend Barre is a perfect fit for this mother of two. “Xtend Barre totally challenged my post baby body and I feel stronger and leaner than I did five years ago”. Bronwen is currently certified in Mat Pilates, Personal Training, Body Combat, Piloxing and Xtend Barre. Her zeal for teaching and passion for health and wellness, as well as good old Aussie charm - will provide you with a challenging work out, and you’ll want to come back for more.

MANDI ALT - Instructor
Mandi is a San Diego native and has been dancing since the age of 4. Her dance history of ballet, tap, jazz and modern led her to teaching hip hop dance from her late teens to early twenties. The love of dance and choreography ignited the desire for leading active and healthy lifestyle. Encouraged by her passion for fitness Mandi had been constantly challenging herself with various forms of exercise, including: Boot Camp, Pilates, Cycling, Weight Training, Running, Zumba, Yoga, and more before being introduced to Xtend Barre Fitness. From Mandi's first class she found herself in by far the most physically rewarding place of fitness. In seeing amazing physical results within the first two months, Mandi knew that she wanted to be a part of the Xtend Barre Team to inspire and help others achieve their optimal fitness goals.
HILLARY BALCH - Instructor
A San Diego native, Hillary started training in classical ballet at the age of 5. From that point on, ballet played a huge role in her life in terms of structure, discipline, and a commitment to doing what she loved. In her adult years, Hillary became an avid runner and an overall fitness junkie. After an injury sustained while training for a 1/2 marathon, Hillary was looking for a low-impact workout that incorporated her love and experience of dance. A friend took her to an Xtend Barre class and she was instantly hooked! The workout incorporated dance moves as well as cardio and let Hillary reconnect with the musicality and gracefulness of ballet.
